Graduated in Mechanical Engineering – emphasis Refrigeration and Air Conditioning at FEI - Faculdade de Engenharia Industrial in 1984. Has made actualization/specialization courses in Low-Voltage Electric Installations ‑ FDTE/EPUSP/IPT, Industrial Ventilation - CETESB – SP and Acoustic and Noise Control – FAAP. In present times is coursing the Master In Mechanical Engineering at Escola Politécnica - USP, developing studies and researches in performance of storage chilled water vertical tank.

 From 1984 to 1986 and from 1987 to 1990 worked at Itaú S. A. Planejamento e Engenharia (Itaú Groups´ engineering company), where developed air conditioning and mechanical ventilation projects for the companies and industries of Itaú Group, such as data processing centers and clean rooms for electronic components manufacturing. In 1986 worked at A. Araújo S.A., acting in air conditioning and ventilation projects for off-shores and industries of oil sector.

 He is the Director at Masterplan Engenheiros Associados Ltda since 1993. The main activity in that company is the development of projects for thermal comfort and processes, such as clean rooms for pharmaceuticals and foods plants, biotechnological researches laboratories and hospital and clinics areas.  

From1995 to 2004 was professor in the refrigeration and air conditioning “latu sensu” specialization course at FEI.
