New Developments on manufacturing processes by machining
Development of manufacturing processes based on machining technologies (cutting, abrasion and
not conventional methods). Modeling and experimental numerical simulation studies. Recent works
are: the development of monitoring of machining processes by use AE techniques as well as
modeling of cutting forces for end milling and drilling processes. Three Ph.D thesis are under
developments studying: High speed machining (HSM) of Cast Iron, hardened steels and duplex
stainless steel. |
